Miss Rodeo Nebraska

Miss Rodeo Nebraska, Samantha Chytka visited our school today.  She joined us for our flag ceremony and later talked to 4th Grade students about being an ambassador for the sport of rodeo.  She has met a lot of interesting people on her journey and had some interesting experiences.  Some highlights so far include riding in an air boat in Florida while hunting alligators and eating cajun boudin in Louisiana.  She encouraged us all to come to the CSC Rodeo tonight (September 20) at 7:00.

Chadron State’s annual rodeo will be this weekend at the Dawes County Fairgrounds in north Chadron. The performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday. Because of the large number of contestants, “slack” sessions be at 1 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Tickets for each of the three performances will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Sam talked to student about working hard in school to get good grades.
