Our Newest Citizen!

Congratulations to our para, Ms. Rossana, who became a United States citizen on January 26th. She shared her experience with the students. She told them about the test she had to take. She also shared about taking the oath of loyalty-a pledge of allegiance-to the United States, and how she now has the same rights and privileges as people born in the United States. We were excited to see her citizenship certificate. Everyone enjoyed red, white and blue cupcakes to help her celebrate! We are proud of you, Ms. Rossana!
