Stand For The Silent Rally

Nebraska's State Capitol - April 5, 2013 @ 8:30 P.M.

EVERY SEVEN SECONDS A CHILD IS BULLIED.

At 8:30 P.M. on Friday, April 5, on the north steps of our State Capitol, thousands of Nebraskan students, families, teachers, and administrators will stand in unison against bullying to lay rest to this statistic once and for all.

At the event, youth motivational speaker Mike Smith will join State Senator Amanda McGill in addressing the topic of bullying and making a call to action to change the culture of our schools and hinder the growth of the bullying problem. For now, we are calling on youth statewide to literally stand all day next Friday as a sign of their support for Stand For The Silent (SFTS) and all those that have fallen victim to bullying.

To help make this happen, we’ve created a short video promoting SFTS and our rally at the State Capitol – we ask that you please share this video with as many people as possible. The time has come for us to truly stand alongside the silent and the broken.

We hope to see you, your family, your staff, and your students in attendance at this event!
