3rd grade students enjoyed a day at school like they did in the 1880's
Dresses, bonnets, and boots were the attire.
Duck Duck Goose was a favorite today at recess!
A hundred years ago, teachers were very strict and students had to be very polite," explained Mrs. Hirning. The teacher would enter and say, 'Manners,' and then the boys would bow and the girls would curtsy and say, 'Good Morning". School in the 1880's was different bet similar in a lot of ways as well. The kids are still GREAT!
