Summer Reading Program

Every Hero Has a Story is the theme of the Summer Reading Program at the Chadron Public Library.  It begins on May 30th at 1:00 and runs to July 2nd.  Elizabeth Dahl (below) read a  tall tale to the kids about Johnny Appleseed and invited the kids to join her this summer.  The students will be brining home a flyer with all the information.  They will cover different topics like:  Historical Heroes, Heroes in the Community, SuperHero to the Rescue, Bam Pow, and Spectacular Sidekicks. All who complete the program will be invited to a End of Program Party.  The final date of teh party will be announced later.
